The Connecta differs from other full buckled carriers, it's waist belt is completely unpadded and unstructured and is worn 'apron-style', with panel of the carrier folding around the baby shaping a nice seat. The Connecta is less bulky and restricting. The shoulder straps can be crossed when front carrying.
